EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Power Technology Unlimited (PTU) of Fresno,
California is soliciting bids for the sale of its unique three-wheel
patented technology which revolutionizes conventional agricultural,
construction and moving equipment. We have completed the business
plan detailing all aspects involving the sale of this equipment
line.
All PTU product lines and products combine
the three-wheel concept and the ease of gas-motorized or electric
power technology.
The PowerBarrow product line consists of
a motorized wheelbarrow in different tub sizes; a flatbed for
hauling heavy loads (patented as motorized wheelbarrow under US
patent number 5,878,827 issued March 9, 1999); a non-industrial
size powered cement mixer (patented under US patent number 5,868,494
issued February 9, 1999); a non-industrial size powered auger
(patent pending); and three motorized and non-motorized handcarts
incorporating three-wheel technology (patents pending). Except
for the handcarts, the individual PowerBarrow products employ
attachments on the same motorized base.
All of these products have both retail
and commercial application for such industries as construction,
landscape and maintenance, farming, ranching, forestry, etc. In
addition, a unique farming product called the Berry-Bud (patent
pending; Model 600 on accompanying photo) has been developed as
an attachment for the PowerBarrow product and has primary use
in berry farming. The Berry-Bud's unique design furrows, sprays,
and overlays plastic sheets across rows of berry plants. The rear
attachment can be used as a plow with the PowerTrakker equipment
line.
Complementing the PowerBarrow line is a
newly developed line of equipment called the PowerTrakker 7000
(patent pending). The PowerTrakker has a more heavy-duty construction
designed for commercial application. The equipment in this line
offers a three-wheel drive propulsion with tracks; a wide and
low center of gravity to navigate slopes easily; extremely safe
operation which avoids the dangers of ride-on machines and has
a built in mechanism that automatically brakes when the driver
releases it; a state-of-the-art hydraulic system making the products
extremely durable and virtually maintenance free; and easy operation
with the use of joystick lever controls. Attachments transform
the PowerTrakker into a wooden flatbed, a contoured flat bucket,
a snow blower, a log splitter, a chipper-shredder, an auger, a
high-weed mower, and a scraper-dozer. Both the auger and the bucket
can be combined with the chipper-shredder. A number of other attachments
such as a cement or pipe cutter, chainsaw, etc. could feasibly
be added depending on the manufacturer's needs.
All PowerBarrow and PowerTrakker products
handle heavy, awkward loads on steep inclines and declines and
on all types of terrain, from flats and hills to confined spaces
and mud. Due to their built in safety features and ease of use,
they also dramatically reduce operator injuries, back strain,
workmen's compensation claims, lost labor time and rising insurance
premiums.
The market for these products far exceeds
traditional applications; nothing currently available in the market
can compare in cost and the limitless applications due to the
readily interchangeable attachments. Consequently, these innovations
have the capability to generate explosive sales.
Prospective end-users include construction
contractors and laborers in all building fields; labor unions;
farmers and farm workers; ranchers; foresters and groundskeepers;
branches of the Military; equipment rental companies; utility
companies; warehouse workers particularly in food stores, appliance
manufacturers and huge retail outlets who manipulate heavy boxes
and equipment of all sizes; manufacturers of all kinds that similarly
move around heavy equipment or inventory; courier companies such
as Federal Express and UPS: and many others. Conventional product
models rely on users' physical strength and agility. These innovative
equipment lines will also open the door to new and larger groups
of users such as women, the elderly and do-it-yourselfers.
PTU is seeking through this proposal to
sell outright the full spectrum of its patented technologies and
product lines to a manufacturer which also has or has access to
sales overseas. We are in the process of evaluating various offers
which include full rights to all patents, all products and manufacturing
technology as well as rights to all domestic and international
sales and distribution.
The Business Plan is available to interested
parties by filling out the electronic information request form
on the contact page.
The Business Plan includes an extensive
Market Trends and Statistics section, incorporating
endorsements from users in a variety of fields, as well as their
professional opinions regarding the PowerBarrow's estimated price
range.
For further reference, in addition to the
US patent numbers noted previously, international patents have
been issued for the following products under the Patent Cooperation
Treaty (PCT) covering the European Union, Canada, China, Germany,
the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States: the motorized
wheelbarrow PCT/US98/10072, the wheeled motorized mixer PCT/US98/20723,
and the motorized auger PCT/US98/20577. International patents
on the PowerTrakker have been applied for and will be retroactive
to the US patent date.
